Join ladies from all over Laurens County who making an important and positive difference in the lives of others around them. Ladies who have served in elected and other positions of prominence in Laurens County will discuss their ideas. There will be opportunities to record oral histories about experiences in the lives of those who attend. This is so important to preserving OUR history. This event will begin the two-months of programs designed to high-light the Smithsonian Museums on Mainstreet’s “Voices and Votes; Democracy in America” coming to the Laurens County Museum June 7th -July 18th . *A vote will be taken by attendees to decide which local non-profit will receive the donations received.
