Save these dates and help celebrate the Native American Arts, Culture and Heritage. These events are sponsored by the Laurens County Museum and the Piedmont American Indian Association Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation of South Carolina and a grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission.


Artists and speakers from all over South Carolina will provide hands-on artisan workshops, music, drumming, Native American artifact dentification and much more. Two more programs will be held in January and March of 2024 that will include school field trips to the PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation Tribal Grounds in Gray Court.
