Birthday Celebration of Building Event
  • Educational – Many groups have taken advantage of the educational and conference opportunities the museum has to offer. The Montessori classes from EB Morse Elementary School recently took a tour of historic Laurens on the city trolley, visiting the museum as part of their field trip.

  • Community – The museum has hosted meetings of organizations such as the DAR, and Genealogy Society, as well as providing private tours for schools, families, and church groups.
  • Quarterly Programs – LCMA offers special programs of interest to the public every quarter. Featured speakers have included experts on beekeeping, entomology, antique (dispensary) bottles, early photography, Native American artifacts, and Edgefield and Johnson Pottery. These programs are held on the third Sunday of the month (January, April, July, and October).

  • Fund Raisers –
  • Museum Shop – The Museum Shop is an important fund raiser for the museum. A complete selection of memorabilia and gift items are available for sale.
